What are cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to site owners. Cookies may be "session" cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent" cookies (stored on your device for a set period). Under EU law, we are required to obtain your consent before placing any non-essential cookies on your device.

Cookies we use

Essential cookies Always active

These are strictly necessary for the website to function correctly. They cannot be disabled.

eventually_cookie_consentStores your cookie consent preferences1 year

First-party analytics No cookies — always active

We use Vercel Analytics, a privacy-friendly, first-party analytics service that does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track users across sites. It collects only anonymous page-view and Web Vitals data. No consent is required under GDPR or ePrivacy.

Analytics cookies Optional — requires consent

These cookies help us understand how visitors use the site. All data is aggregated and used only to improve the website. You can opt out at any time via our cookie banner.

Google Consent Mode v2

This site implements Google Consent Mode v2. When you have not granted analytics consent, Google Analytics operates without cookies. In this mode, Google may use behavioural modelling to estimate aggregated website metrics (such as total page views or conversion rates) without identifying or tracking individual users. No personal data is collected or stored in this mode. When you grant analytics consent via the cookie banner, the cookies listed above (_ga, _ga_*, _gid) are set and standard analytics collection begins.

Custom event tracking

When analytics consent is granted, we track specific user interactions (such as clicking sign-up buttons, viewing the pricing page, or scrolling depth) via Google Tag Manager. These events are sent to Google Analytics to help us understand which parts of the website are most useful. Event data includes the type of action and the page location, but does not include personal information. Additionally, certain transaction events (such as ticket purchases or plan upgrades) may be sent server-side via the GA4 Measurement Protocol to ensure accurate conversion tracking.

Cross-subdomain cookies

Analytics cookies are scoped to the .eventually.one domain and are shared between eventually.one (this website) and app.eventually.one (the application). This allows us to understand the full journey from visiting the website to using the product, as a single continuous session rather than two separate visits.

Third-party cookies

Some third-party services we use may set their own cookies on your device:

  • Vercel Analytics — first-party, privacy-friendly analytics. Does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track users across sites. Governed by Vercel's Privacy Policy.
  • Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager — collects anonymised usage data to help us understand how visitors interact with the site. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Microsoft Clarity — records anonymised session data (heatmaps and scroll maps) to help us improve the website experience. Governed by Microsoft's Privacy Statement.
  • Stripe — sets cookies during the payment flow to prevent fraud and ensure secure checkout. Key cookies include: __stripe_mid (fraud prevention, duration: 1 year) and __stripe_sid (payment session, duration: 30 minutes). Governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
  • Tawk.to — provides our live chat support widget. These cookies enable real-time messaging and remember your chat history. Key cookies include: TawkConnectionTime (live chat session management, duration: session), __tawk_* (live chat widget preferences, duration: 6 months), and tawk_* (visitor identification for chat continuity, duration: 6 months). Governed by Tawk.to's Privacy Policy.
